Prince George's Parents Get Slammed After Post-Birthday Snap

Prince George's recent birthday has seen both love and backlash from the internet world, following a string of photographs on what seemed to be a mild form of animal abuse. And to think the adorable Prince George, eldest offspring to William and Kate, could have just been enjoying a nice time.

On Prince George's special day this year, snaps of the little royal were just getting shared online to commemorate his 3rd birthday. However, these sweet little images of Prince George didn't make everyone happy, according to the Daily Mail.

What could have happened?

While the internet world's reactions seem divided over the friendly gesture the tot was making towards its furry companion, many also wonder if both William and Kate had coaxed Prince George into sharing the cool delight or if the little royal opted to do it himself. Well, a photograph can tell a lot of stories.

What people can't let go is the known fact that most animals have unnatural reactions to specific kinds of food offered to them. Since Prince George is considerably a public figure already, such behavior wasn't acceptable.

Pet lovers unite!

Animal rights groups like the RSPCA and Dogs Trust have remarked over Prince George's ice cream incident, in a related Guardian post. The notion of offering dairy in nature to animals is not a crime, per se, however care needs to be taken in ensuring that the food is, rather, animal-friendly.

While Prince George's father William is a noted animal conservationist, his mother Duchess Kate is also into humanism and related advocacies. However, both Prince George's parents need not be judged as harshly as anyone sees fit.

If little Prince George could air out his side of the story, the internet world would likely understand that he was just having a nice time out on a summery day with his royal companion.

Yet, the "damage" has already been done. We'll be happy to know what you folks think.
