iPhone 7 is soon being released by Apple. The market is abuzz with rumors on many aspects of the phone. Design, features and the number of iPhones making a debut are hot topics now.

iPhone 7 is all set to release in September. It is expected that the phone will have some upgrades from the prior versions. The 4.7-inch iPhone 7 is rumored to have a larger lens opening. It is also supposed to have antenna bands that have been relocated. When it comes to the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, the phone is rumored to have twin lenses.

There are reports that the 3.5 mm jack is being retained in the phone. It is also rumored that Apple will take up the storage capacity a notch higher to 256 GB. The physical home button is also rumored to be removed.

Potential iPhone 7 design images are being circulated all over the world wide web. In these pictures, only the 4.7-inch screen model seems different while the iPhone 7 Pro and Plus models look almost the same wiith a bigger mold, reported Forbes.

Are there only two phones of the variant?

There is a new report that there will be only two new models and that they will be codenamed "Sonora" and "Dos Palos". The names are inspired from two towns in California, reported NDTV.

It seems to be a sensible choice that Apple is making by bringing out only two models. If another model is also added to the release, it might end up in making losses to the company due to overstocking.

We have to wait and watch how the new iPhone will be received by the market when it releases in September. However, owing to the fact that Apple phones do have a loyal and recurring customer base, will the new phone debut to good sales figures?
