‘Scorpion’ Season 3 Premiere Date, Spoilers, Latest News & Updates: Brand New Episodes Hinting Near Death Experiences, Outer Space Journey And Romantic Upheaval?

As "Scorpion" season 3 follows the events of the cliffhanging season 2 finale of the series, the cast of the hit CBS drama series recently shared some exciting details at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con. In fact, Katharine McPhee, who plays the role of Paige Dineen, even revealed her episode in the upcoming season.

Things are indeed getting more interesting in "Scorpion" season 3. As the two-hour premiere of the series looms, executive producer Nicholas Wootton shared that fans will finally get "resolution on a lot of things" after the cliffhanger finale episode last season.

"In terms of what's coming up this year there's a lot of stuff," Wootton said, as per Cinema Blend. "You're gonna get resolution on a lot of things. We're going to actually be taking characters in different directions as opposed to love interests."

Outer Space Trip, Near-Death Experiences And Happy's Husband In 'Scorpion' Season 3

Aside from the resolutions, "Scorpion" season 3 also hinted an outer space trip happening in the show's upcoming episodes. TVLine also added that the latest season will also put Paige (McPhee) and Happy (Jadyn Wong) on dangerous situations as they will both face near-death experiences.

As for Happy's unseen husband, his identity will be finally revealed in "Scorpion" season 3. McPhee even hinted the possibility that "Scorpion" fans might have already known him.

The Paige-Walter Love Story In 'Scorpion' Season 3

Wootton previously confirmed that Walter (Elyes Gabel) will go to Tahoe to finally profess his feelings for Paige. But it seemed that the "Waige" loveteam won't be on the same page anymore with their feelings toward each other, with McPhee hinting a "shocking interaction" between Paige and Walter in Tahoe.

"Her feelings are always there, but she's had to put them aside because she's accepted that Walter isn't capable of loving her in the way she deserves and the way she wants him to..." McPhee said, CarterMatt quotes. "Her feelings have become dormant. They're always there, but she has a child and needs to move on with her life. Season 3, Walter definitely comes to Tahoe. It's definitely going to be an interesting interaction when Walter shows up. It's definitely a shock."

Toby To Reclaim His Love In 'Scorpion' Season 3?

Apart from the "Waige" loveteam, "Scorpion" fans are also excited on what will happen next to Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Happy following the marriage proposal rejection in the previous season. According to Thomas, Toby will try his best efforts by going on an "uphill climb to reclaim his love" despite the fact that Happy is already married, Entertainment Weekly notes.

As for "Scorpion" season 3 premiere date and timeslot, the new season will air its two-hour premiere episode on Monday, Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. on CBS. However, the series will be moved to its new timeslot, which will be at 10 p.m. on Oct. 10, Parent Herald previously reported.
