'Thor 3 Ragnarok' Sneak Peek at San Diego Comic Con Reveals Possible Hulk and Surtur Face-Off!

"Thor 3 Ragnarok" Natalie Portman updates are hinting that the third installment of the MCU flick will not see the return of Jane Foster. However, despite her absence, new reports are suggesting that fans have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming movie.

As it was previously confirmed, The Hulk will be a crucial character in the movie. As San Diego Comic-Con audiences witnessed, the green giant will not only help Thor amid the Ragnarok, but will also provide some few good laughs for the "Thor 3 Ragnarok" film.

"Thor 3 Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi gave a glimpse of Thor and Hulk's comedy in a short sneak peak at the 2016 Comic-Con. As i09 noted, the scenes were treated like a documentary that followed Thor and Hulk during the events of "Captain America: Civil War."

Apart from the funny short movie, fans also had the first glimpse at behind-the-scenes footages and concept art. But perhaps one of the most exciting thing about "Thor 3 Ragnarok" is the scene that featured Thor and Hulk in full armor (similar to Planet Hulk), and the part where Hulk was seen "jumping at" a giant beast that could possibly be the rumored antagonist in "Thor 3 Ragnarok," fire giant Surtur.

Marvel describes the "Thor 3 Ragnarok" villain as "an enormous fiery demon native to the dimension of Asgard. Possessed of evil intelligence and vast power, Surtur was one of the major elemental forces of evil that the Asgardians feared. He was a mystical being whose existence predated that of Odin himself. Over 1,000 feet tall and wielding a huge fiery sword, he was once imprisoned by Odin at the Earth's core. Along with Ymir the Frost Giant and the Midgard Serpent, Surtur was the most powerful of Asgard's native enemies."

"Surtur has been freed from imprisonment a few times over the years. The first time the Asgardian god of mischief Loki set Surtur free to wreak havok on Earth."

"Thor 3 Ragnarok" opens November 3, 2017. Stay tuned for more updates here!
