'Jurassic World 2' Air Date, News & Update: Hawaii, London Shoot Confirms Military Dinosaurs? J.A. Bayona Sequel More Epic?

"Jurassic World 2" just divulged more epic treatment under the hands of "Penny Dreadful" director J.A. Bayona with filming in Hawaii and London. As the Hawaii and UK shoot tellingly confirm the use of militarized dinosaurs in "Jurassic World 2," stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are in for a larger than life sequel.

Screen Rant reports that Director J.A. Bayona will be taking "Jurassic World 2" to Hawaii and London. Significantly, one of the most active "industries" in Hawaii is military and filming "Jurassic World 2" in this state proves the sequel to the Colin Trevorrow blockbuster will be heavily military themed.

Parent Herald cites reports that "Jurassic World 2" will explore the use of InGen technology outside the entertainment industry and with more global consequences. "Jurassic World 2" may not even see InGen technology in American hands but may become "distributed" to other powers as China and Russia.

Colin Trevorrow previously illustrated how "Jurassic World 2" will deviate from the old "Jurassic Park" trilogy. "And when you look back at nuclear power and how that started, the first instinct was to weaponize it and later on we found it could be used for energy," Colin Trevorrow stated.

With the confirmation of Hawaii for "Jurassic World 2," fans now get a sense of how different and more serious the sequel to the Colin Trevorrow blockbuster will be. Metro reports that parts of "Jurassic World 2" will also be filmed in the UK and will be called "Jurassic World: Ancient Futures."

At face value "Jurassic World: Ancient Futures" gives the sequel by director J.A. Bayona an epic, foreboding sense to it. The "Jurassic World 2" creates a feeling that Chris Pratt as Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing will see a sequel of consequences to their own choices.

The "Jurassic World 2" release date is set for June 22, 2018. How do you see "Jurassic World 2" continuing the tale of clonic and genetic engineering?
