'Gears Of War' 4 PC Release Date, Latest News Update: The Coalition Gameplay To Return Microsoft Trust From PC Gamers?

"Gears Of War" 4 by The Coalition is stopping at nothing to prove that PC is the new home of the Microsoft flagship for XBox Play Anywhere. With new "Gears Of War" 4 features teased by the 2016 San Diego Comic Con trailer, The Coalition highlighted this commitment 

VG24/7 points out that The Coalition set out a significant task with "Gears Of War" 4 on PC. According to the media outlet "Gears Of War" 4 is that experience that dispels the distrust among PC gamers for Microsoft.

The media outlet cites Eurogamer in stating that The Coalition did not take the easy way out with "Gears Of War" 4. Rather than simply porting "Gears Of War" 4, The Coalition gave the Microsoft franchise features that are specific to the PC version.

  In a Eurogamer interview by Digital Foundry, The Coalition technical director Mike Raynor highlight that their goal is to give players fuller control with the "Gears Of War" 4 PC version. "Along with more settings, we're putting extra time into making it clear what impact a setting will have on GPU/CPU/VRAM so there is a clear correlation between a setting change and its performance impact," Mike Raynor said.

Movie News Guide reports that the 2016 San Diego Comic Con reveal of the "Gears Of War" 4" showed leads Marcus Fenix, son JD, Del and Kait running on Forge, a new multiplayer map. "Gears Of War" 4 players will be able to choose between Code and Competitive modes.

Attack Of The Fanboy pointed out that the reveal of the Forge multiplayer map was a sufficient tease of locations that "Gears Of War" 4 players can hold combat. The Forge multiplayer map reveal also provided a good setting for returning protagonist Marcus Fenix, who returns to "Gears Of War" 4 25 years after the original "Gears Of War" trilogy was concluded, as Entertainment Weekly reports.
