‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers & Updates: Klaus-Caroline Final Moment Before Steroline June Wedding?

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is confirmed to be The CW drama's last on TV. While it is expected that the series finale will focus on the characters in the show, many fans are hoping to see at least one last epic moment between Klaus and Caroline aka "Klaroline." Can fans expect to see one before the Stefan-Caroline aka "Steroline" June wedding?

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 spoilers tease that Caroline (Candice King) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) may have their June wedding. In an interview with PopSugar, series creator Julie Plec revealed that there is a possibility that Caroline and Stefan will get their Spring wedding.

"We are well aware that that line exists in the pilot and that was Caroline's intention from minute one," Plec said. "It's the final season and we don't like to leave a lot of things hanging, so we'll see."

This is a good news for "Steroline" shippers who have been anticipating for a happily ever after kind of story for the couple. However, many "Klaroline" fans are also hoping that "TVD" Season 8 will give a proper closure to Klaus and Caroline before the series comes to an end.

There is a possibility, however, that in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, Caroline may choose to be with Klaus over Stefan and later on join "The Originals." However, from the way things are looking so far, this looks like a very remote possibility.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are also expected to reunite in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. According to Seventeen, the "Delena" reunion has been one that many fans have been looking forward to seeing since Dobrev left in Season 6.

Plec revealed that she and Dobrev made an "emotional promise" about her return to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Ian Somerhalder, on the other hand, joked that Nina Dobrev's promise would not come through.
