‘Girl Meets World’ Season 3 Finale Spoilers: Two Morgans In Ultimate Reunion Episode; Rowan Blanchard Hints Disney Series’ Cancellation?

The upcoming Matthews family reunion on "Girl Meets World" will gather the original "Boy Meets World" cast members for the Season 3 finale. That reunion will surprisingly include the two actresses that both portrayed Morgan in the original series -- Lily Nicksay and Lindsay Ridgeway.

Huge Reunion For 'Girl Meets World' Season 3

Nicksay played the character on Seasons 1-2 of "Boy Meets World," while Ridgeway's was on Seasons 3-7, TV Line reported. It's unknown how the two actresses' return will play out, but Vanity Fair speculated that one of them could portray Morgan while another plays a different character.

The "Girl Meets World" writers' Twitter account revealed the other cast members returning for the Season 3 finale to "help [the characters] make a decision." Among those reprising their roles are William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), Anthony Quinn (Mr. Turner), Rider Strong (Shawn), Will Friedle (Eric), William Russ (Alan), Betsy Randle (Amy), Lee Norris (Minkus), and Danny McNulty (Harley).

Now, this huge cast reunion comes with both good and bad news. Of course seeing the cast together again will give loyal viewers warm feelings, but the reunion could also signify as the show's last hurrah especially now that there are speculations that Season 3 will be the final bow of "Girl Meets World."

Lead star Rowan Blanchard's (Riley Matthews) recent tweet didn't help either. In fact, the 14-year-old's statement hinted that "Girl Meets World," which premiered in 2014, could say goodbye from the air after Season 3. Blanchard, however, said that filming the Season 3 finale episode was "very emotional" for the show's whole crew.

Series regular August Maturo, who portrays Auggie Matthews, also posted a clip on Instagram after taping the Season 3 finale of "Girl Meets World." In it, the show's live studio audience was seen chanting the words, "One more season."

Lucas And Maya Will Still End Up Together?

In the eighth episode of "Girl Meets World" Season 3, viewers saw Lucas (Peyton Meyer) choosing Riley over Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). This week, however, the show's writers posted an intriguing tweet for the ninth episode titled "Girl Meets Ski Lodge Part 2," saying that they "don't make the right decisions."

That tweet was followed by another that read: "And because of that, they will examine the positions we have put them in. And the story will let us finally know what is important. Enjoy it."

What could this possibly mean? Fans are hoping that Lucas and Maya will still end up together when Season 3 concludes. But that could be hard given that Maya is now falling for Josh Matthews (Uriah Shelton). "Girl Meets World" airs on the Disney Channel every Friday, 8:30/7:30c.
