WWE News: Carlito, Curt Hawkins, Tommy Dreamer, Melina, And MVP Coming Back?

Plenty of wrestling stars are making their comebacks to WWE. This is evident on the recent returns of Rhyno and Shelton Benjamin in this week's "SmackDown Live."

Just recently, it was reported that Jinder Mahal has signed a new deal with WWE and will make a comeback to the "RAW" brand, Wrestling Inc. reported. There's no official announcement yet when he will be back.

More Rumors About Returning WWE Stars

Now more rumors are popping up about WWE stars returning to the ring. This includes Carlito, Curt Hawkins, Tommy Dreamer, Melina, and MVP, Wrestle Zone listed. If the rumor is indeed true, there's a huge chance that Hawkins (Brian Myers) would sign with the SmackDown brand.

Reports have also surfaced about Nikki Bella's comeback to WWE's women's division, The Inquisitr reported. She left WWE along with her twin Brie Bella after she sustained a serious neck injury, while Brie retired to start a family with husband, Daniel Bryan.

Just recently, Nikki was cleared by her doctors to wrestle again. She even shared a photo of the CAT scan on the official Twitter account she shares with her twin.

Nikki also recently shared a clip from her third training session since she was cleared by doctors for wrestling. The Instagram video showcased Nikki training with Bayley at the WWE Performance Center.

Nikki's return to WWE, however, could come with some issues. Other women wrestlers such as Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Natalya, Becky Lynch, and Bayley have gained prominence during Nikki's absence and even "changed how people are looking at women wrestlers," The Inquisitr wrote.

As for where Nikki might end up, there are speculations that she would be placed in "WWE SmackDown Live" opposite Eva Marie. The latter had a falling out with the Total Divas group, which used to be Nikki's team, and that issue could be the root of the two wrestlers' feud. Eva, like Nikki, has a controversial air about her, though some might say that Nikki is the better wrestler.

Brock Lesnar's Comeback

Another returning former WWE star is Brock Lesnar, who was banned from the UFC after he was found positive for hydroxy-clomiphene, an illegal substance he used during a UFC 200 match against Mark Hunt.

Lesnar will return to the WWE ring for "Monday Night Raw" on August 1. International Business Times reported that Lesnar and John Cena, another big name in WWE, will be competing in top matches of "WWE SummerSlam 2016" without titles. Lesnar will fight Randy Orton and Cena will likely continue his spat with AJ Styles.
