PlayStation Plus Free Games for August 2016 Disappoints Gamers?

Sony has recently revealed the PlayStation Plus free games for August 2016. While a lot of fans are excited about the list of games, some are not equally impressed.

As PlayStation Blog reported, the PlayStation Plus free games for August 2016 include "Tricky Towers" (PS4), "Rebel Galaxy" (PS4), "Yakuza 5" (PS3), "Retro/Grade" (PS3), "Patapon 3" (PS Vita) and "Ultratron" (PS Vita, PS3, PS4). As previously speculated, the PS3 title "Yakuza 5" will make it to the free games list for next month.

In the comments section, gamers gave their honest opinion of the PlayStation Plus free games for August 2016, with many expressing their disappointment over the choice of titles. "Oh man... this is pretty bad.... I'd be mildly excited if I owned a ps3, but I feel bad for us ps4/vita owners," user mthodmn101 commented.

"I do not know how they pick the games but I do not pay for ps plus to get a bunch of c list games," user Doug-E-Fresh0126 seconded. "I especially hate when the free games are games I can play on my iphone. They have a big enough catalog now to give out some decent games. People that say its a free game stop complaining, well no its not free its a feature of having a ps plus membership."

As Tech News Today previously speculated, "The Last of Us Remastered," "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016," "Batman: Arkham Knight," "Knack," "Killzone: Shadowfall," or "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" could make it to the list for August. The prediction came after rumors surfaced that a triple A title could make it to the list.

Meanwhile, apart from the PlayStation Plus free games for August 2016, fans of the Sony gaming console are also anticipating further announcements for the PS4 Neo release date. It was previously hinted that a 2016 Holiday launch for the upgraded Sony console could be underway.
