"Supernatural" Season 12 spoilers tease a dramatic reunion between Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). As most fans can recall in the Season 11 finale, Sam thought that his brother, Dean, died after defeating Amara.

Afterwards, Sam was taken by the Men of Letters, who is believed to be the big bad in "Supernatural" Season 12. In the 2016 SDCC, Jensen Ackles teased that there will be a dramatic reunion between Sam and Dean next season, reports TVLine.

"Dean's got to figure out quickly what has happened, where he is, and then it turns into a big of 'Taken,'" said Ackles.

Ackles said that Dean will go through lengths in order to rescue Sam from the Men of Letters in "Supernatural" Season 12. Aside from this, the Winchester brothers will also have to take in the fact that their mother, Mary, is back.

According to Showbiz Junkies, Ackles shared that Dean will be more affected by Mary's return in "Supernatural" Season 12 than Sam. This might be due to the fact that Dean was older when Mary was suddenly consumed by the fire.

"Sam's just like, 'I don't know her. I don't know who this is,' you know?" Ankles said.

Mary's return will also make things more complicated for Sam and Dean in "Supernatural" Season 12. According to Ackles, Mary will make the Winchester brothers more "vulnerable" because the villains know that Mary is an asset to them.

"Supernatural" Season 12 premieres on Oct. 13 on The CW.
