One wonders if Nina Dobrev turned her back on more than a commitment to the "The Vampire Diaries" Season finale. Meaning that continuing "The Vampire Diaries" for Damon Salvatore and Stefan even without Bonnie Bennett may have been hinged on a Nina Dobrev return to "TVD."

Other "TVD" fans propose that Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert does not do more for "The Vampire Diaries" series that Damon Salvatore, Bonnie Bennett and the main other characters do. More than likely, "The Vampire Diaries" series simply reached its natural death.

At best, with or without Nina Dobrev, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 cast will surely give an outstanding farewell to "TVD" fans at S8.
