New James Bond Tom Hiddleston, Theo James Upstaged? London Rapper New 007?

The new James Bond role weaves further and further away from Tom Hiddleston and Theo James. Similar to Tom Hiddleston and Theo James, Aidan Turner have now been upstaged by "Game Of Thrones" actor and London rapper Ed Skrein seems the closest to the brand of James Bond that Daniel Craig popularized.

Despite an overwhelming campaign start for Tom Hiddleston as the new James Bond, as Parent Herald reports, the pie began to dwindle. As with Tom Hiddleston, Theo James made waves in the beginning of the race for the new James Bond, but Aidan Turner as 007 has an insistent fanbase.

However, similar to Tom Hiddleston and Theo James not even Aidan Turner, who seemed a shoe-in as the new James Bond, could hold onto his votes. Approvals for the actor who will inherit the "James Bond" franchise from Daniel Craig has been migrating to London rapper Ed Skrein.

According to The Week, Jason Statham's replacement for "Transporter" could also be the replacement for Daniel Craig in "James Bond." Fans would also remember the new James Bond candidate as villainous Francis in "Deadpool."

The media outlet highlights that among the similarities between Ed Skrein and Daniel Craig includes stunt skills, which the former 007 applied to his "James Bond" films. A definite plus as the new James Bond films, whose 007 is adapted from the original novels by Ian Fleming, have been subtly shifting in action style.

As long as Ed Skrein refrains from busting the popularity meter in the new James Bond race (which Tom Hiddleston, Theo James and Aidan Turner have been doing), the 007 contender remains a strong candidate for producer Barbara Broccoli's approval. Seemingly, Tom Hiddleston, Theo James and Aidan Turner are getting dangerously close to being discounted as candidates for the new James Bond because of the buzz the future 007s have been generating.

Are you partial to Tom Hiddleston, Theo James, Aidan Turner or Ed Skrein as the new James Bond? Do you have a favorite candidate to become the new James Bond?
