Another rumor circulating is that the anime will show a new character, a beast-like Titan, that has high intelligence as compared to the Titans on Season 1.

Yibada reported that "Attack On Titan" Season 2 will show the citizens acting up against the corrupt King in an attempt to overthrow him. Accordingly, the rebellion against the king will be led by Captain Erwin Smith but it will possibly show that the King is just a front of the real rulers of the land, which is the Reiss family.

Speaking of the Reiss Family, it is possible that Krista's real identity will be revealed on "Attack on Titan" Season 2. Krista is said to be am member of the Reiss family and that her real name is Historia Reiss. Accordingly, the members of the Reiss family have the ability to become a Titan. There have been no confirmations about these speculations yet.

Krista is the 10^th best soldier from the 104^th Training Corps and joined the Survey Corps along with Eren and the others in an attempt to kill the Titans.

A Titan to be called the Beast is reportedly to be featured and reports suggest that he is not a typical Titan because he is smart and has a high IQ. The Beast can also reportedly talk and manifest the intelligence of a human. He is also a titan-shifter and will go by the name Zeke when in human form.
