'High School Musical 4' Cast & Major Spoilers: Zac Efron And Vanessa Hudgens Reunite; To Play As Mentors To The New Cast?

The "High School Musical" alumni Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are set to reunite in the big screens again for the next "HSM" installment. According to reports, the duo might play as mentors for the new characters in "High School Musical 4."

If you follow Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens' career you will probably agree that the American teen romantic comedy musical movie series, "High School Musical" catapulted both to fame. However, Efron got the bad spotlight after speaking ill of his "HSM" character.

"I step back and look at myself and I still want to kick that guy's ass sometimes," Zac Efron told Men's Fitness. "Like, f**k that guy. He's done some kind of cool things with some cool people, he did that one thing [Neighbours] that was funny, but I mean he's still just that f**king kid from High School Musical."

Many misinterpreted Zac Efron's statement, especially after seeing him taking distance from his Disney origin. However, Efron posted a photo revealing that "High School Musical" will always have a soft spot in his heart.

Efron posted a photo of him with his "High School Musical" co-stars two months ago. He captioned it with, "So grateful I came across this picture... With the o.g. crew during one of the most cherished and exciting times of my life. Love you guys forever. #fbf." Per Huffington Post, the actor doesn't really hate "HSM."

Well, it seems that Disney is not closing its doors to Zac Efron. There are rumors that Efron will reunite with his ex-flame and "HSM" co-star Vanessa Hudgens in "High School Musical 4." Per Yibada, the original cast members will return in "High School Musical 4" to play as mentors.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly suggests that Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu will also appear in "High School Musical 4." Tisdale will appear as Mrs. Darbus' assistant moderator in the theatre club. On the other hand, Bleu could be the next basketball team coach.
