NBA Trade Rumors: Denver Nuggets Eyes Nerlens Noel? Sixers to send Noel to Timberwolves?

Among the latest NBA trade rumors include Denver Nuggets trying to make a major deal before the next season and that they are interested in trading Nerlens Noel of Philadelphia 76ers. But will Philadelphia give away Noel? Maybe, but not to Nuggets, according to the reports.

According to ESPN, in a bid to improve its lineup, Denver Nuggets is bringing a talented player from the trading block in exchange of one of their players among Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari. Other options include Jusuc Nurkic and Joeffrey Lauvergne. But Denver Nuggets is reportedly not targeting NBA superstars like Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City Thunder. They're interested in moving Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers' power forward/center, or Jahlil Okafor, center.

"(I'm hearing) 'Denver is trying to get off [Kenneth] Faried', which I think they are, but if they have to move a decent wing to get off Faried and get something good in return (sic). They've got a lot of wings now; young ones, mid-career ones, take your pick," said Zach Lowe on his podcast.

However, Fansided said that the deal is quite impossible, unless Nuggets would let go of its young point guards Emmanuel Mudiay or Jamal Murray just to get Noel or Okafor, which is unlikely to happen.

Meanwhile, other words from the rumor mill is that the Sixers might go for a three-way deal, sending Nerlens Noel to Minnesota Timberwolves, Sports Rageous reported. Timberwolves will then send Ricky Rubio to the Phoenix Suns and then Philadelphia 76ers will get Brandon Knight who will be perfect for what the team is looking for. Timberwolves' Glen Taylor already said earlier that he is not trading Rubio. But with Noel, Timberwolves will have someone who can size up with other teams, so it's possible that Taylor might reconsider. Nerlens Noel looks to be a hot item on the trading block. Other reports suggest that the Cleveland Cavaliers is also looking to get Noel in exchange of Iman Shumpert.
