Ozzy Osbourne Has Sex Addiction: Wife Sharon Says She Is Embarrassed But Proud That he has Come out, Musician Undergoing Intense Therapy

Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon Osbourne have been on the spotlight for months now after announcing that they are ending their thirty-plus years of being married. However, just recently, they revealed that they are working on their relationship and now, another bomb has been dropped after Ozzy revealed that he has been battling sex addiction for years now.

Ozzy recently released a statement saying that for the last six years, he has been dealing with sex addiction. The 67-year-old also revealed that he is undergoing intense therapy for the reported addiction.

Sixty-three-year-old Sharon then opened up about the matter on the Wednesday episode of "The Talk" wherein she noted that when somebody has a sex addiction, she believes it is embarrassing as addiction to drugs and drinking is more acceptable. She was fighting back tears while talking about the matter but pointed out that Ozzy is working at it. Sharon continued to say that the sex addiction is difficult for them because it affects the whole family.

Sharon did not look down at her husband regarding his sex addiction as she also said that she is proud that he has come out and has finally admitted it to the public.

E! News also reported that Ozzy has been an outpatient for sex addiction for the last three months. It is unclear where the Black Sabbath frontman is undergoing the intense therapy. After the summer tour with Black Sabbath, Ozzy will be addmitted as an inpatient for another three months. Despite the seriousness of the matter, Sharon was able to joke about it saying that Ozzy should call Tiger Woods for some advice since the athlete has been involved in a cheating scandal years ago.

Sharon ended her statement saying that the support has been overwhelming and it is really difficult if no one will be behind her in Ozzy's treatment for his addiction.

Before the sex addiction reports surfaced, the affair of the rocker with Michelle Pugh had more details to offer. The hairstylist said that their affair went on for four years and that he showered her with many gifts as well as love as he pursued her. Ozzy, however, said that Pugh has taken their sexual relationship out of context. His reps also said that Ozzy would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with.
