Derek Fisher Intends To Have An NBA Comeback, Currently Back in the Lab for Basketball Workout

The 5 time NBA Champion Derek Fisher is not calling it quits after posting a video of his basketball training in his Facebook page he inserted "#imnotdoneyet." Derek Fisher is giving a hint of an NBA comeback after 3 years of retirement from the league.

According to ESPN, Fisher is currently exploring some options that he might have along the way as he expresses an interest to play again in the league. Yet he never mentioned any options, but it seems for Derek Fisher, an NBA comeback or playing for a Chinese team in China's professional basketball league is a great idea.

Fisher retired after the 2013-2014 NBA season, and he was last seen playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder. During the NBA's off-season, he was signed by Phil Jackson for a full-time Head Coach for the Knicks.

During his stint as a coach, it was not easy for him to lead a team while he is on the sideline, ending his first season with devastating 17 - 65 standing. In his second year with the Knicks, it's more likely of a different story, 23 - 31 during the mid-season, but the management is still in doubt that he Fisher was fired after 54 games.

As a player, Derek Fisher is known to be a reliable playmaker, good leader, hard working role player and a consistent outside shooter. Derek Fisher is very much known to be a part of the Lakers' Championship team.

Fisher's reliable scoring option is due to his good shooting stroke outside the arc. With a career average of 8.3 points per game, it shows that he is a good support as a full-time starting point guard.

Last year Fisher was involved in a brawl against an active NBA player Matt Barnes. The NYdailyNews reported that Barnes attacked Fisher after learning that Fisher was dating his estranged wife, no cases have been filed after the said slugfest.
