‘Mariah’s World:’ A Peek Into Mariah Carey's Life; Reality Show Reveals The 'Other Side' Of The Singer

"Mariah's World" is the reality show which is based on the side of Mariah Carey's life which no one ever knew. The star is letting the fans peep into the aspects of her life which were not revealed before in her upcoming eight part series.

In the new trailer of "Mariah's World," the diva's life and her lavish lifestyle is explained. "Mariah's World" also allows the fans to get a peek into her private moments which she enjoys as a mother. She has two kids, 5-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.

"I don't think anyone knows anything about me," said the 46-year-old diva in a clip of the trailer of "Mariah's World." She joins in on a prank phone call revealing the much goofier side of her to the world.

The reality show, "Mariah's World," is based on the concept that Mariah Carey's life is explained through the way it appears to the 'singer' in her. However, Mariah feels that this is not too much of a reality as she is travelling to do her first tour in Europe in 10 years, reported The People.

The diva revealed that she has not been on a tour in Europe for the last 10 years. So she was keen on showing what happens behind the scenes and what it really takes to conduct a tour through "Mariah's World." She feels that now is the right time to document her life. The show is called a docu-series because it is more like a documentary than a reality show.

Mariah also confessed that she does not watch reality shows and she does not know what it is in reality. The singer went on to reveal her experience in "American Idol."

"Ugh! It was the most the most abusive experience! By the way, you've just driven me to drink," she recalled at the Television Press Critics Summer Press Tour. She took a sip of her drink to put her point across, reported Fox News.

Mariah Carey performed for the press in the process of promoting her eight-part docs-series, "Mariah's World." She performed onstage with a group of shirtless men. Later on, she settled down on a purple chaise lounge chair to answer the questions aimed at her.

"Mariah's World" chiefly focuses on her as a musician and singer. It primarily will show case her music tours. Her family life, moments with kids and private moments will also be featured. A possible cameo appearance from her ex-husband Nick Cannon is also being planned. However, we do not know for now who else in the celebrity arena will appear.

"It's difficult to say how much of anything will be there until a little further along," she said. "[Nick] is cool about being on the show and very supportive. He came around, but I don't know what makes the final cut."
