'The Originals' Season 4 Air Date, News & Update: Joseph Morgan Teases More Bloodthirsty Klaus Mikaelson?

"The Originals" Season 4 may premiere with a bad tempered Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan), who was set back by the Tunde Blade at S3 finale. Joseph Morgan, in fact, teases that Klaus Mikaelson will be far more bloodthirsty when he regains his freedom along with siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) in "The Originals" Season 4.

TVOM cites Joseph Morgan in describing how Klaus Mikaelson returns to form in "The Originals" Season 4. Parent Herald cites reports that Joseph Morgan journeyed with Klaus Mikaelson toward redemption in "The Originals" Season 3.

However, "The Originals" Season 4 seems all set up for a tug-of-war for Klaus Mikaelson. Executive producer Michael Narducci revealed that because "The Originals" still has a few more stories to tell before the final season, Klaus Mikaelson will have to struggle with his old self as opposed to his redeemed self.

Luckily, the final effort by Cami O'Connell (Leah Pipes) in "The Originals" Season 3 to help Klaus Mikaelson toward goodness is not completely lost. Despite his inevitable occasional regression, "The Originals" Season 4 will see a Klaus Mikaelson who will try to become a better father for Hope (Summer Fontana).

A fortunate to be sure as Hypable reports that Hope will be in danger along with the other children of New Orleans in "The Originals" Season 4. A mysterious force will be affecting the children of New Orleans and Hope Mikaelson could fall prey unless Klaus Mikaelson, Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin) and the rest of "The Originals" root out the cause immediately.

Casting calls for "The Originals" Season 4 continues as another child actor will be added to the series. Backstage reports that the new "The Originals" character will be another young girl aged 8 to 13.

Presumably, the new child actor will be among the young New Orleans victims in "The Originals" Season 4. Hopefully, Klaus Mikaelson, Hayley Marshall, Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) and the rest of The Originals will be able to save this young girl and Hope from the threat in Season 4.
