'Pokemon GO' Latest News, Tips & Tricks: No Pokevision? Where To Find Alternative ‘Pokemon GO’ Trackers That Still Work

Setting up a record for the highest number of downloads in just a few weeks after it was launched, "Pokemon Go" continues to deliver fun and excitement for fans. With its astonishing arrival in the gaming world, multiple programs suddenly exist to aide players in an easy "Pokemon Go" quest.

One of the most helpful third party program or we may say "Pokemon Go" cheat is the Pokevision. The Pokevision is an app that uses the "Pokemon Go" API map made by Niantic, all the Pokemons around your area or even those selected areas will be visible, making the "Pokemon Go" monster catching quest easier than the usual. Unfortunately, Niantic was able to eliminate the hottest "Pokemon Go" cheat, again.

Hundred percent, those players using the Pokevision are now in search of a new "Pokemon Go" Tracker App which can replace the abolished Pokevision. By gathering some information, we found some apps that can help you track down Pokemons. The list below came from players on Reddit who confirmed that most of these are still working.

Pokemon Compass

This "Pokemon Go" app was just released in the late July and was only available for Android. Though there is no plan to release on iOS, the is still in development and plans to put a small compass on "Pokemon Go" map. Though the app is acting slow, still it is useful and accurate.

Pokemon GO Desktop Map

This "Pokemon Go" App is useful, but it relies on the help of a computer in order to work. After installing the app, copy your google map keys and login using a dummy "Pokemon Go" account. Users may get an alert if a Pokemon respawns near the area.

PokeAlert

A user suggested this app, but it seems for most are having some issues that the app is not accurate. Some user says that they are not able to see the actual Pokemon though in the "Pokemon Go" map it is visible.

PokePilot

This "Pokemon Go" third party app is still in beta, but it seems likely to be the only app that can be used in iOS. You might want to check website to check its release.

Skiplagged

This app seems only available for selected regions and the only flaws that may find is that it only works in a large area with massive crowd due to it relies on crowdsource.

There are some other alternatives that works like a do-it-yourself method, it needs some technical skills. Github Scanner can also be used as a "Pokemon Go" Tracker, you may refer to reddit for some tutorials.

Incense may also help, just make sure to use it in a perfect spot, keeping in mind that it has time duration, you might need to plan ahead your route if it seems no Pokemon are roaming around on your current spot.
