Ben Affleck's Wife Jennifer Garner Cooking & Home Gardening Secrets: 'I Make Everything'

Jennifer Garner is a celeb mom who knows what it takes to multi-task to accomplish her duties as a parent. The 43-year-old actress revealed that she currently cares for a garden where she gets nutritious food sources for her kids, according to US Magazine.

Garner attended the "Just Label It Anti-GMO Event" out in Silver Lake, California. "I cook for my kids, and we have a garden," the hands-on mom admitted during the event. "We try to grow whatever we can, although I can't say we have the hugest crop in the world, but I do try to pay close attention and I do my best." 

The actress' friend, super model Gisele Bundchen, hosted the "Just Label It" event. Garner shared how her friend influenced her to get involved in the "Just Label It" campaign. "My friend Gisele and I are fed up with being kept in the dark about GMO and non-GMO labeling," she said. "I got involved because she said, 'Do you know what's happening?' She's a firecracker. She said, 'You have to educate yourself.'"

E! Online revealed Bundchen's remarks about her decision to promote "Just Label It."

"This is a very important cause to me as an individual, as a parent and as a mother," the model shared. "I am here tonight because I believe we have the right to know what's in our food."

Ben Affleck's wife lets readers in on what she cooks in the family's kitchen. "I make everything," she disclosed. "Roasted chicken and mashed potatoes, gravy, homemade bread, corn on the cob, you know, whatever."

Garner and Affleck are parents to nine-year-old Violet, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3. The celeb mom shared that her kids have not exactly been the happiest when it came to eating the foods she advocate. Garner said, "They weren't thrilled tonight when I came to see you guys, so right now I'm not asking for their vote."

The actress also admitted that, "We talk about our food, we grow food, we talk about what goes into it. They planted it, they water it, they take pictures next to it."

On Tuesday, Affleck and Garner were seen in Los Angeles starting their day with coffee, according to Daily Mail UK. The pair took the time to savor time together on a date without their kids.

The Hollywood power couple met in the set of "Daredevil" in 2003. Garner and Affleck started dating the following year. They were married in 2005.
