Fans are definitely excited for the upcoming premiere of the hit CBS series, "Scorpion" season 3. To further ignite the fans' excitement, CBS recently revealed some interesting details on the two-hour premiere episode of the series, hinting the possibility that Team Scorpion will be in a middle of a war.

Aside from the much-anticipated romantic and dramatic twists in "Scorpion" season 3, fans are also eager to know what's really in store in terms of the storylines for the upcoming season. According to GameNGuide, the third installment of the series will not be featuring any time jumps as the season premiere will follow the events were the previous season ended.

In addition, "Scorpion" season 3 will also follow the cast's journey in tackling their own personal issues. As a matter of fact, "Scorpion" executive producer Nick Wootton hinted that "a lot of stuff" will be death in the upcoming season, BreatheCast noted.

"We're going to actually be taking characters in different directions as opposed to love interests," Wootton said, as per CinemaBlend.

Even though the romance side of things in "Scorpion" season 3 will remain, the upcoming season also teased some war troubles involving the U.S. military. In "Scorpion" season 3 premiere episode titled, "Civil War," Team Scorpion will encounter a security threat as hackers try to take control the American warships and aircraft.

Meanwhile, fans are still hoping for some good news about their favorite Paige-Walter and Toby-Happy love teams in "Scorpion" season 3. Unfortunately, it may not be quite a good season for avid "Waige" followers as Celeb Dirty Laundry claimed that a romantic relationship between may not be possible since the characters are no longer on the same page with their feelings toward each other.

As for Toby and Happy, their relationship will get more complicated in "Scorpion" season 3 after Happy rejected Toby's marriage proposal in the previous season, not to mention the revelation that she's already married to another guy. But hope may not be all lost for Toby and Happy as the former reportedly plans to reclaim his love back in "Scorpion" season 3, Entertainment Weekly learned.

Another interesting revelation about "Scorpion" season 3 is the fact that there will be an outer space adventure, as well as near-death experiences that will put Paige and Happy in risky situations. The identity of Happy's husband will also be revealed, Parent Herald previously reported.

"Scorpion" season 3 will kickoff with a two-hour episode premiere on Monday, Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. on CBS. However, Enstarz previously noted that the series will be moved to its new timeslot, which will be at 10 p.m., starting on Oct. 10.
