'House of Cards' Season 5 Air Date, Rumors, News & Updates: Bureaucracy Is Frank's Ultimate Goal; Discards Claire For His New Fling?

Bureaucratic drama sequel "House of Cards" Season 5 is expected to return with stunning brawls and skirmishes to gain power and love.  Even the avid followers have been bombarded with spoilers and theories earlier on.

Rumors are surging with the possibility that the "House of Cards" Season 5 may have a new political leader and it could possibly be a woman. Prior to the previous season of "House of cards", it was seen that Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) was leading the Democrats in the presidential elections.

Avid viewers can remember that Frank was suffering liver failure because of the attempt on his life. Frank underwent a liver transplant and was asked to give-up his position because of his health condition and it remains uncertain in whether "House of Cards" Season 5 returns.

Fans were speculating that Claire will kill frank and the viewers of "House of Cards" already knew Claire's capabilities were. Yibada suggested that Claire has deceived and forsaken Frank a hundred times already, so it would not be a shocking revelation anymore if she is planning to kill Frank. In a different note, there are talks that Spacey will exit "House of Cards" Season 5, but it remains unsettled and unconfirmed by the showrunners of the series.

CNBC also said that nothing has really been formally said regarding "House of Cards" Season 5 so it is best to take the information with a bit of strips. Rumors also involved the producer of "House of Cards" Beau Willimon and his presumed decision to drop out of Netflix series after its four seasons.

Willimon said that his time with "House of Cards" has come to an end, and he is now ready to move on to "new endeavors." The producer is actually the one who initiated to bring the original British material to the American audience. The debut date for "House of Cards" season 5 air date has not been announced, but it is anticipated to broadcast sometime in 2017.
