‘Pokemon GO’ Tips, Tricks & Spawn Locations: Where To Find Dragon, Ice, Poison, Flying Pokemon And Why You Need Them

"Pokemon GO" players need to stock up on Dragon, Ice, Poison and Flying Pokemon to strengthen their fighting roster, knowledge of Pokemon spawn locations is therefore essential to serious "Pokemon GO" players. However, as Niantic Labs designed "Pokemon GO" to work with geolocation features, Pokemon spawn locations are modified accordingly.

"Pokemon GO" players will find the same 18 Pokemon types characterized in the classic version by Nintendo. Ranked Boost lists the following areas as common spawn locations for the Dragon, Ice, Poison and Flying Pokemon on "Pokemon GO."

Dragon Pokemon is essential for fighting other Dragon-type Pokemon. "Pokemon GO" players mostly find Dragon Pokemon in golf courses, popular landmarks and locations linked to an event of interest. VG247 notes that Dragon Pokemon are vulnerable other Dragon-types, Ice and Fairy Pokemon.

  Ice Pokemon, on the other hand, prove effective against Grass, Ground, Flying, Dragon types of Pokemon. According to Ranked Boost, "Pokemon GO" players will find Ice Pokemon near bodies of water and in grasslands.

The media outlet also highlights that Poke Eggs are also good sources of Ice Pokemon. In "Pokemon GO" all Ice Pokemon can be obtained from Poke Eggs. According to VG247, "Pokemon GO" players should remember that Ice Pokemon are vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, Rock and Steel Pokemon types.

Ranked Boost reminds "Pokemon GO" players that Poison Pokemon are also commonly Grass type Pokemon, e.g. Bellsprout. Poison Pokemon spawn location are often near wetlands and marshes as well as industrial areas. VG247 advises that Poison Pokemon work well against, funnily enough, Grass Pokemon and Fairy Pokemon. However, "Pokemon GO" players should watch out for Ground and Psychic Pokemon when using Poison Pokemon

Finally, Flying Pokemon shares other Pokemon types and often use the woods and grassy areas as spawn location. Farmlands and forests are reportedly also spawn locations for Flying Pokemon. According to VG247, Flying Pokemon give "Pokemon GO" players an advantage over Grass, Fighting and Bug type Pokemon. However, Flying Pokemon are not as effective against Electric, Ice and Rock Pokemon types.
