Hilary Duff Husband Divorce: Singer Looking for New Boyfriend on Tinder?

Hilary Duff is wasting no time being single after divorcing Mike Comrie. The actress revealed that she uses Tinder to find a date, according to Daily Mail. Duff allegedly met a man, named Tom, via the dating app. She and her new boyfriend potential were on a date on Monday after having met online.

Duff spilled her online dating secret in "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" Tuesday morning and admitted, "It's totally me on Tinder." Hilary shared the details behind her decision to join Tinder.

She fondly said, "It kind of started out to be a joke with some of my girlfriends. I was like, 'Explain this whole thing to me because it's kind of blowing my mind."

"We were swiping and it started out to be kind of a joke and then I was like, 'I'm gonna join Tinder,' and they were like, 'What?! No way you can't.' And I was like, 'Why can't I? Yeah, I absolutely can.'"

Hilary revealed that the unexpected came out of her joining the online dating app. "I never thought anything was really going to happen. I was talking to a few of the guys and they were really normally," she shared.

The actress animatedly let fans in on the details surrounding her date with a man she met on Tinder. "We went bowling so we didn't have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually," she disclosed. "He was cool. He brought a friend and I had some friends there. He used to be in editing for reality shows. Now, he's an actor and he just wrote a play. He's an interesting guy. To be honest, I don't really want an actor either. I think he has a few jobs."

When asked if the pair would likely go on succeeding dates, Hilary replied, "I don't know how I'm feeling. We'll see how it goes.'"

The single mom is not closing doors on succeeding dates via Tinder, as she jokingly said, "Im just a Tinder animal!"

"'I had my Tinder training wheels on for my first date. Now it's smooth sailing."

Meanwhile, News.com.au reported Hilary admitting to talking to nine men online via Tinder. However, the actress said she was not sure if any of those men were aware that she is a Hollywood celebrity.

People stated that Hilary admitted to being new to dating regular men. The actress said, "I don't want to see a shirtless mirror selfie. I just want someone who can make you laugh in their profile. I've never dated just a 'normie!' "
