Moonray Studios Releases George of the Jungle: Owie Owie and Freaktown Defenders onto iOS, Android and Web

Toronto - August 18, 2016 - Play as your favorite cartoon characters and enjoy some hilarious animation action now that independent video game developer Moonray Studios has released two new family-friendly games on iOS, Android and Web. Based on the reboot to the classic '70s cartoon and coinciding with the upcoming season premiere of "George of the Jungle II," George of the Jungle: Owie Owie is FREE to play and has players jump, swing and rocket their way to the top of the jungle canopy while avoiding obstacles and evading light bugs with Owie Owie fever. Take one misstep and George will endure bone-crushing hits with ragdoll physics in a slow motion descent to the floor of the jungle canopy.

Also releasing today for $1.99 USD is the humorously childish Freaktown Defenders, which is based on the Canadian animated series "Freaktown." In Freaktown Defenders players battle against swarms of Sweets from Freaktown's biggest enemy, Princess Boo Boo, in order to prevent the town from a massive cute and cuddly makeover. To do this, players will shoot toad snot and utilize special superpowers to send the sweets back to the candy shop.

About the Games: George of the Jungle: Owie Owie - Owie Owie fever has turned the once friendly and collectible light bugs into a bloodthirsty army. While evading these vicious bugs players climb high into the canopy and along the way must also avoid trees, rocks, thorns and other creatures. As George, players have an assortment of powerups to collect, costumes and friends, including Shep, Ape and Magnolia, that will propel George to new heights. Take one wrong step and players will watch George endure every bone-crushing hit in super slow motion.

Freaktown Defenders - Boo Boo is back trying to sweeten Freaktown, one building at a time and it's up to Freaktown's favorite Freaks to fight back with an arsenal of squirt toad snot and special superpowers, including eye throwing. Help save Freaktown by defending the town against more than 50 waves of Sweets attacks, from gangs of Fluffies to swarms of Pixies, by using the power of farts.
