'Dance Moms' Season 5 2015 Recap & News: Nia Frazier Talks Abby Lee Miller; Says 'I Have Other People Who Support Me'

"Dance Moms" star, Nia Frazier, has now ventured into the world of singing! According to OK! Magazine, the 13-year-old seasoned dancer just released a new single, called "Star in Your Own Life." The video for the song even premiered in Dance Moms' Tuesday episode.

Frazier openly revealed that it was a pleasure for Aubrey O' Day to direct her video. "It was awesome working with Aubrey. I met her this summer and she told me that you need to do a song with a music video," the talented teen share to OK! "She was the one who put everything together. She walked me through it and she had me meet all of these people. I just can't thank her enough."

As for her rumored rift with Kendall Vertes, Frazier gave her take in an OK! Interview. "I'm so excited for her. Kendall and I are really, really good friends. We're family, we're just so supportive of each other," she said.

Dancing competitively with ALDC is not in the pipeline for Frazier yet. "I can't say yet, but I am hoping to do more music," she said of the possible plans. "I still want to dance competitively because I love to dance. I started out as a dancer and I just feel like dancing is my life."

Nia's mom, Holly Frazier, could not contain her excitement and happiness as blessings come her daughter's way. As reported in International Business Times, Holly told reporters in Nia's debut single party that, "It is not every day that you're 13-year-old and you're releasing a music video."

When asked about Abby Lee Miller, Frazier admitted she has not exactly been on friendly terms with her dance teacher.

Frazier said, "I don't know if she's going to help me promote it, but it's okay because Abby has her own opinions about the music video. I really hoped that she would be supportive, but if she isn't it's her opinion." She then added, "If she's not supporting me it doesn't feel that good, but I have other people who support me."

Nia did thank her dance coach for helping her get this far in her career. The teener said, "I have to thank her because she is the reason why I'm dancing and if I wasn't dancing then I wouldn't be here."

Meanwhile, Abby is believed to have been in conflict with the "Dance Moms" production team. The dance instructor allegedly saw reasons to believe that the crew ruining her stint on the show. Abby alleged that the show's crew members have been deliberately picking on her by insinuating her downfall, as reported in TMZ.com.
