NBA Trade Rumors: Cleveland Cavaliers Trading Kevin Love To Boston Celtics?

Cleveland Cavaliers have finally won their first NBA title. Although most credits go to LeBron James, everyone is aware that every member of the team also contributed to Cav's success including Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. However, Love's contribution falls short in impressing the Cavs and reports have it that they will be trading him to Boston Celtics.

After beating the Golden State Warriors last NBA season, the Cleveland Cavaliers is aware that they have to strengthen their roster to have an easy win the next time they face GSW. There is no doubt that the super team made Cav's victory so challenging. At the time, Cavaliers is pressured to match the strength and power of the Golden State Warriors, especially now that it has a powerful quartet of players including Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green.

Reports are ripe that Kevin Love is the odd in the Cavalier's roster. So, the team is trading him to Boston Celtics. The Blow Sports reported that since Love played with LeBron James, his numbers and playing time significantly dropped. During the NBA 2013-14 season, Kevin Love averaged 36.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 36.3 minutes per game. Love was with Minnesota Timberwolves at the time.

However, during Kevin Love's first year with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he just averaged 16.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 33.8 minutes per game. For the NBA 2015-16 season, Love averaged 16.0 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 31.5 minutes per game.

It looks like that Kevin Love and Cleveland Cavaliers are not meant for each other. The report added that Love and Celtics have been in contract negotiations two years ago but both moved on because they couldn't agree on the contract. Is this the perfect time for Kevin Love to play for Boston Celtics?

The report suggests that Boston Celtics could trade Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley to acquire Kevin Love. Other sources suggest that Cavs might trade Love to Los Angeles Lakers or Sacramento Kings?

Where do you think will Kevin Love sign in the upcoming NBA season? Do you agree that Love is not perfect to be LeBron James running mate? Does the Cavs have other issues with Love? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
