NBA Latest News: Nerlens Noel Most Likely First Player To Be Traded By Philadelphia 76ers, Is He Really Coming to Cleveland Cavaliers?

Philadelphia 76ers is reportedly ready to let go of some of their players in an attempt to improve their roster. However, the possible NBA player to be traded first is said to be Nerlens Noel instead of Jahlil Okafor or Joel Embiid.

The reports about Noel being traded came after Philadelphia 76ers experienced an oversupplied frontcourt. Just recently, Philadephia 76ers selected Ben Simmons in this year's draft and Dario Saric also decided to play in the United States. Aside from that, the foot of Embiid is said to be improving so he will most likely play well in the 2016-2017 season so that means there are too many players in the front court.

Noel has been a hot topic in the NBA trade rumors, Sportsrageous reported that he has been linked to different teams such as Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Minnesota Timberwolves. However, the most recent is Cleveland Cavaliers. Because Noel is a talented center, Cavaliers reportedly showed interest in him. Cleveland Cavaliers is now choosing between Noel and Sacramento Kings player DeMarcus Cousins.

In a previous report by Parent Herald, Cleveland Cavaliers might give up Kevin Love to acquire Noel. Accordingly, Philadelphia 76ers Team President Bryan Colangelo also wants Love to be on his team. However, the possible NBA player to give up in order to get Love would be Noel.

Cleveland Cavaliers might need Noel if they want to win this season's NBA championship again. Love is not a great fit with for the Cleveland Cavaliers although he plays well but Noel will reportedly play alongside LeBron James better. Aside from Love, Cleveland Cavaliers could also trade Iman Shumpert and Cal Landry.

As for the other Philadelphia 76ers players, Okafor has been rumored to be traded to Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.

It remains unclear if a trade is really set to happen and if Philadelphia 76ers would really let go of Noel.
