Simone Biles, Serena Williams, Gabby Douglas And Other Olympians Featured In New Nike Advertisement [Watch Video]

The latest advertisement of Nike is about empowering women and it is title "Nike: Unlimited Pursuit." The familiar faces shown in the 40-second advertisement are Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Serena Williams, Alyson Felix, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

The women looked confident and intense as they showed off their routines when they are conditioning their bodies for the respective sports that they play. Williams is a professional tennis player, Biles is a gymnast, who recently won four golds and one bronze at the Rio Olympics 2016, and Douglas, also a gymnast, who brought home one gold for team U.S.A.

Felix is a track and field racer, who won two golds and one silver at the Rio Olympics and Fraser-Pryce is also in the same sport as Felix but is from Jamaica.

Global Grind reported that "Nike: Unlimited Pursuit" is a campaign inspired by the women whom Nike regarded as people who push their own limits to embark on an unlimited journey. That journey pertains to empowering the next generation of athletes.

The advertisement focused on the behind the scenes of what these athletes do in order to bring honor to their country and in order to serve as a role model to the youth.

Nike added in their press release, "Recovering from setbacks, losses and injury, rising from obscurity and destroying obstacles to claim victory, they command the spotlight and inspire Nike to innovate to match their strength and their dreams," Hello Beautiful reported.

Other women were featured in the Nike advertisement as if to say that they could also achieve what the athletes are known for.

The song of Kid Cudi entitled "Pursuit of Happiness" played in the background as the women were highlighted in each frame. The Nike advertisement ended with Biles doing a perfect flip and as she landed, she looked at the camera directly.

This is the latest in the set of Nike advertisements released to show power in achieving what one dreams about.
