'Criminal Minds' Season 12 Could be The Last? Series Going Downhill After Hotchner's Exit

Just when fans expected that Shemar Moore's exit from "Criminal Minds" season 12 was a hard thing to get by, reports have recently confirmed that another front runner is leaving the show. Thomas Gibson will unexpectedly leave the show after execs allegedly fired him for his anger issues.

According to TV Line, writers are now thinking of a plot for Hotchner's exit from "Criminal Minds" season 12. Although this is not the first time that the show has gone through some major cast shake-ups, this is basically the show's first time to deal with two departures at once.

As the site mentioned, Gibson was let go last month after he allegedly kicked a producer. The "Criminal Minds" regular was reportedly advised to attend anger management sessions in the past because of his behavior. This was not the first time that he was reprimanded for bad behavior on set.

Now that "Criminal Minds" season 12 is going through another loss, fans can't help but wonder if this will be the start of the show's downhill performance. Earlier reports have already confirmed that "Magic Mike" star Adam Rodriguez will join the BAU in the upcoming run, however, execs are now working hard to look for two new cast additions, apart from Rodriguez, to hopefully alleviate the loss of the two major characters.

Meanwhile, Shemar Moore has previously expressed his thoughts of possibly returning to the show to reprise his role. Although the actor claimed that he's open to coming back to the BAU, he also clarified that it won't be happening anytime soon.
