'Destiny 2' Rise of Iron DLC Will Be Collision Themed For 'Wrath of the Machine;' The 'The Taken King' Designer At The Helm

"Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" promises several new features and a brand new raid. The game which is currently under development has kept its fans waiting for a while now. Bungie referred to the upcoming raid as the "Wrath of the Machine" which is said to be the highlight of "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" DLC. Luke Smith, the director of "The Taken King" DLC, is at the helm of the sequel, "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron."

The lead raid designer at Bungie, Gavin Irby, said that the "Wrath of the Machine" showcases the enemy type Fallen Devil Splicer. In "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" the storyline involving the raid focuses on the Iron Lords and SIVA, the nanotech virus. The design team who is responsible for the creation of the raid is now focused on creating the theme that will have an effect on everything in visibility. The "Wrath of the Machine" will be based on a collision theme. The game will also showcase on the collision between the Fallen faction and the SIVA, reported Gamerant.

During the creation of the game, the team proceeded to introduce the smash concept into the gameplay. Though it started out as a trail, the concept turned out very well. The design team focused on creating a game that is purely about fun. In "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" DLC the players are completely allowed to play their strengths to the maximum of the game's sandbox. The "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" DLC will be very similar to Crota's End. This is a raid that features more action than the methodical approach, reported VG247.

Irby reported that the "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" DLC will be very tough. He feels that the gaming community will be up to experiment new things now. The previous raids of the game will help them to improve the level and even acquire mastery in this level.

The "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" DLC will challenge the players to increase their Light level immediately. Once the players reach a new level, they will be able to acquire a lot of new gears. Also, the players can acquire a lot of new items that will help them to reach the new Light level cap of 385. "Destiny 2: Rise of Iron" will be released on Sept. 20, 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
