‘GTA 6' Release Date, News & Update: Rockstar Games’ ‘Grand Theft Auto’ To Be Revealed In PlayStation Neo Unveiling In September?

"GTA 6" from Rockstar could finally see details leaked to "Grand Theft Auto" fans at the Sony press conference this September, where the PlayStation Neo is anticipated for unveiling. Despite absence by Rockstar at E3 2016 and at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, word on "GTA 6" may make its way to "Grand Theft Auto" fans from the New York PlayStation press conference.

The "GTA 6" buzz comes as industry insider Tidux, whom Gamezone cites, teases that Rockstar will be at the PlayStation meeting. As Parent Herald cites, the recent financial report from Rockstar parent company, Take-Two Interactive, teased "GTA 6" in the pipeline by revealing that the "Grand Theft Auto" developer is working on key projects.

Take-Two Interactive's reference to Rockstar projects also indicated that reveal on its projects, which "Grand Theft Auto" fans hope to include "GTA 6," will be made soon. Could "soon" then mean "Grand Theft Auto" fans getting a firmer direction on "GTA 6" from the PlayStation meeting this September?

Gamezone proposes that the quality and style of the Sony presentation at E3 2016 could give "Red Dead Redemption," and "Grand Theft Auto" fans, a hint that Rockstar was indeed supposed to make a reveal as Take-Two Interactive promised. The media outlet further proposed that historical partnership between Sony and Rockstar could see "Grand Theft Auto" franchise's "GTA 6" or "Red Dead Redemption" franchise's second iteration lend key support to the PlayStation Neo launch.

The Street reports on citing "GTA 6" development status from an interview with the Take-Two Interactive CEO. However, the Playstation meeting in New York this September may just as well be about "Red Dead Redemption 2" rather than "GTA 6."

Buzz among "Grand Theft Auto" fans say that a goodly portion of Rockstar followers would be happy to see "GTA 6" pushed back and have "Red Dead Redemption 2" prioritized. After all, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is marginally more delayed than "GTA 6" is. Add the fact that continued "Grand Theft Auto" 5 and "GTA Online" success may render Rockstar offering "GTA 6" premature from a sales and marketing perspective

Popular projections on "GTA 6" release date place the "Grand Theft Auto" iteration for a 2018 to 2020 release by Rockstar. Do you think Rockstar will announce "GTA 6" or will the "Grand Theft Auto" makers reveal "Red Dead Redemption" at the PlayStation Meeting this September?
