‘The Blacklist' Season 4 Release Date & News Update: Tom Will Fight Raymond Reddington, Alexander Kirk To Get Liz Keen, Agnes Back?

"The Blacklist" Season 4 is an emotional bomb ticking where Liz Keen (Megan Boone) and Agnes will find Raymond Reddington (James Spader), Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) and Tom (Ryan Eggold) staking claims for their individual reasons. Although "The Blacklist" Season 3 finale almost gave Liz Keen, Agnes and Tom a chance at being a real family, intervention by Alexander Kirk brings the trio back into the radar of Raymond Reddington.

According to Megan Boone, the controversial faked death by Liz Keen in "The Blacklist" Season 3 was a bid to protect Agnes from the dangers of her old life and from the manipulative influence of Raymond Reddington. The happy reunion that would have been a hopeful "The Blacklist" Season 3 ending for Liz Keen, Tom and Agnes in Cuba was foiled by Alexander Kirk aka Constantin Rostov, who entered the picture in search of Masha Rostova.

To be sure "The Blacklist" Season 4 will return to the issue that Alexander Kirk claims to be the father Liz Keen had been trying to find. However, Entertainment Weekly highlights that "The Blacklist" Season 4 premiere will also worryingly open with Tom Keen locked up in a darkened trunk.

Ryan Eggold, however, assures that Tom Keen will be able to escape the danger of his opener in "The Blacklist" Season 4. More interesting, though, is how Ryan Eggold revealed that Tom will be all fired up to get Liz Keen and Agnes back despite interference by Alexander Kirk and Raymond Reddington.

Although "The Blacklist" fans have essentially ascribed the role of savior to Raymond Reddington, Tom will just be as determined to free Liz Keen from the clutches of Alexander Kirk. Interestingly, creator Jon Bokenkamp said that "The Blacklist" fans have no reason to disbelieve that Alexander Kirk is the father of Liz Keen.

Jon Bokenkamp also said that revelation by Raymond Reddington in "The Blacklist" Season 1 that he is not the father of Liz Keen stands. However Raymond Reddington, Tom and Liz Keen are unanimously unsure of what Alexander Kirk really wants from Masha Rostova.

Friend or foe, Alexander Kirk has Raymond Reddington and Tom to get through before he can enact any harm upon Liz Keen or Agnes in "The Blacklist" Season 4. As much as Raymond Reddington, Tom will be intent on rescuing Liz Keen and Agnes believing that he can still live out his dream with his family despite the events of "The Blacklist" Season 4 as Melty reports.
