NBA Trade Rumors: Lakers Trading for Paul George, Willing to Offer D'Angelo Russel Or Brandon Ingram; Thunder Offering Kanter And Roberson

The NBA trade rumors are getting more exciting and fun. There is no doubt that the upcoming NBA season will be unforgettable. According to recent NBA trade buzz, Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers are competing to trade for Indiana Pacers' small forward, Paul George.

Paul George is a basketball superstar on his own terms. He is a three-time NBA All-Star, an NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2011 and the NBA Most Improved Player in 2013. There is more in Paul George's accomplishments, which only explains why NBA contenders are running after him.

Per Sports Rageous, OKC Thunder is trading for Paul George that the team is willing to offer Enes Kanter and Andre Roberson. Tony Heim suggested that George's addition to Thunder will benefit the team.

For instance, Thunder can have the best starting lineup with Russell Westbrook, Victor Oladipo, Paul George, Ersaan Ilyasova and Steven Adams. This lineup features two of the ten best players in the NBA league, three elite defenders and a perfect stretch four.

The report stressed that if OKC Thunder trade Enes Kanter, it should not be just anyone but Paul George. Kanter is a skilled and talented player so he shouldn't be traded to any other team unless the trade will make Thunder a contender in the NBA league.

Aside from Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers are also after Paul George. In a separate report from Sports Rageous, Lakers are willing to offer its point guard D'Angelo Russell and small forward Brandon Ingram for the Indiana Pacers small forward.

Per the report, Indiana Pacer might do a total rebuild in their roster and Lakers should trade for Paul George. The interest could be mutual because George is a huge fan of Kobe Bryant, who played for Lakers for a decade. In fact, George once called Lakers is "family-favorite team."

Will Los Angeles Lakers or Oklahoma City Thunder be successful in their trade for Paul George? Is Indiana Pacers letting go of George? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
