Chris Pratt and Anna Faris on Premature Son Jack, 'He's just a ball of joy'

Chris Pratt and his wife Anna Faris welcomed their son Jack in August. The baby who was due in fall arrived two months early and was kept in the neonatal intensive care unit for one month.

The proud parents who were busy in taking care of their premature baby during the past four months, appeared on the "Late Show With David Letterman," Wednesday and opened up about their little bundle of joy.

"Oh, God, he is just . . . he's amazing. I love him so much. He's just a ball of joy. He's terrific," Us Weekly quoted the "Everwood" actor as saying. "He was born nine weeks premature, so we spent a month in the intensive care unit with him. But he's totally healthy now. He is just so perfect and I love him so much."

Faris met the "Parks and Recreation" star Pratt while shooting location of "Take Me Home Tonight" in 2007. The couple married in 2009. Faris was very keen to expand her family as soon as they started their married life.

"Chris wants a big family," Faris told People in 2009.

"I would love to have eight [kids]!" Faris told E! News. "I don't think I could handle it, though!"

After giving birth, the actress was not in a hurry to regain her pre-pregnancy shape as her husband supported her and was happy with her looks.

"I have the sweetest husband," Faris told E! News in December. "He makes me feel good at any weight. In fact, I kinda think that he likes it when my butt is a little bit bigger!"

Faris started acting in films, shortly after finishing her college studies. "Lovers Lane" released in 1999 is her first film.
