‘Agent Carter’ Star Chad Michael Murray & Sarah Roemer Welcome First Baby

Another heartthrob joins the list of proud Hollywood dads. "One Tree Hill" alum Chad Michael Murray announced on Twitter on Sunday that he and his wife, Sarah Roemer, welcomed a healthy baby boy, according to Los Angeles Times. The baby is the first child of the couple.

Murray broke the news following the growing concern expressed by his fans and followers via social media regarding his noticeable absence from Sunday's 29th Annual Jim Kelly Celebrity Classic VIP Gala. Amidst the speculations, the "Agent Carter" actor explained that while he was sorry to miss out on the said event, he had his hands full with the birth of his son.

Addressing his fans via Twitter, he wrote, "Sry I'm missin @JimKellyInc charity this year in Buffalo. My fav event 2 attend, but we've been blessed with a son. Gods greatest gift." He then added, "Sarah & I couldn't b happier & intend 2 spend many a day having family adventures & watching @buffalobills football! & also @Chargers now."

The news was welcomed by the Buffalo Bills with enthusiasm, according to E Online. Aaron Williams, the defensive back of the team, took his excitement over the news to social media. He posted on Twitter, "Congrats to my buddy @ChadMMurray on having his new born son. Can't wait to meet him and see him go crazy at the Ralph one day."

Becoming a father is a dream come true for Murray who revealed to Bello Magazine earlier that fatherhood is "the greatest thing in the whole world." The actor also shared that he intends to "sit back and enjoy this new chapter." When asked about the type of father he would be, Murray said in an interview with People that it was "tough" for him to describe his fatherhood style.

"I'm a respect first kind of guy, so I think certain things that I want my son to have is just respect and just to be a kind human being," he said. "I'm a big sports guy, an outdoorsy guy, so I'll be having him fishing at 5, 6...to take him kayaking and hiking. I just keep thinking in my head, just trying to create 6-foot-5 quarterback," Murray shared.

Apart from the gender and date of birth of the baby, no other information has been provided by either Murray himself or any of his representatives. However, this behavior no longer surprises the couple's fans as the two actually opted to have a quiet ceremony in January to celebrate their wedding, according to People. Murray's marriage to Roemer is his second, following his five-month marital relationship with "One Tree Hill" co-star Sophia Bush.
