'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Air Date, Latest News & Update: Adult Swim Series Rick Sanchez, Cob Planet Relationship Arc In S3?

Adult Swim offering, "Rick And Morty" Season 3, from creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon will not leave fans hanging as what the S2 finale "The Wedding Squanchers" meant by the Cob Planet segment will be revealed. At the Adult Swim Comic Con panel, Ryan Ridley promised that Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon and the "Rick And Morty" gang will take three episodes in Season 3 on the Cob Planet arc.

Uproxx cites the impromptu opera that Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon, Ryan Ridley and Spencer Grammer (Summer Smith) put on for a "Rick And Morty" fan during the Adult Swim Comic Con panel. The "Rick And Morty" fan asked for clarification on why the Cob Planet, as shown in the Season 2 finale, was supposed to be terrifying.

  If indeed, the three-episode explanation of the secret connection between Rick Sanchez and the Cob Planet will happen in "Rick And Morty" Season 3, one wonders if this will be as operatic as the Comic Con Adult Swim panel preview. Fans of the Adult Swim series would certainly enjoy seeing something that could rival the phenomenal "Get Schwifty" from "A Rickle In Time" in "Rick And Morty" Season 2.

The Cob Planet arc joins all the other shenanigans that Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith will be up to in what Yahoo reports as a darker "Rick And Morty" Season 3. For the coming season, Adult Swim will bring 14 new episodes of "Rick And Morty."

According to Geek, fans of the Adult Swim series will also get to see Rick Sanchez escape prison, Beth Sanchez (Sarah Chalke) and Jerry Smith (Chris Parnell) save their marriage and Mr Meeseeks return (possibly) in "Rick And Morty" Season 3. Earlier reports say that Vin Diesel will join Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith in a guest appearance at "Rick And Morty" Season 3.
