‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Emilia Clarke Teases ‘Epic’ Battle Scene; Sophie Turner Rendered ‘Speechless’

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will not debut on the small screen until the summer of 2017, but the hype is already building around HBO's highly popular fantasy drama. Emilia Clarke and Sophie Turner, who plays Daenerys Targaryen and Sansa Stark in the show, respectively, recently revealed their thoughts about the upcoming season. Judging from the two actresses' reactions, Season 7 will both shock and satisfy fans.

In an interview with TVLine's Michael Ausiello on the Emmy red carpet last Sunday, Clarke confirmed that "Game of Thrones" will have another "epic" battle scene that will rival the series' past battle spectacles seen in the "Battle of the Bastards," "Blackwater," and "The Watchers on the Wall" episodes. Clarke added that it's "ridiculous" how the Season 7 battle scene "topped" Season 6 -- in a good way.

Turner echoed her co-star's thoughts about the seventh season of "Game of Thrones." The 20-year-old actress revealed during her Emmy red carpet interview that she was rendered "speechless" after reading the scripts for Season 7, describing the upcoming episodes as "unbelievable" and "crazy," Time reported.

Turner admitted that she cried while reading the scripts, recounting how she "nearly fell off" her chair and how her jaw "dropped" during the process, according to a separate report from TVLine. She told E! that fans will be "really satisfied" when they watch Season 7. Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya Stark on the show, tweeted last month that "nothing will prepare" fans for "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

It's highly possible that the big battle spectacle for Season 7 will be Targaryen versus Lannister, Parent Herald previously reported. A recent casting call hinted that Daenerys' Unsullied-Dothraki army will fight the Lannister force and Euron Greyjoy's (Pilou Asbaek) Ironborn. This battle could mean that the Mother of Dragons is finally claiming the Iron Throne in Westeros.

Several "Game of Thrones" actors have been spotted in Belfast, Ireland, where the series is currently filming. Among them are Turner, Williams, Lena Headey (Cersei), Indira Varma (Ellaria), Rosabell Laurenti (the Sand Snake who's also known as "bad pussy"), Joe Dempsie (Gendry), and Asbaek, Vanity Fair listed.

There are claims that there was a sea battle filmed this month that occurred between Euron and his niece and nephew, Yara (Gemma Whelan) and Theon (Alfie Allen), who have pledged their allegiance to Daenerys. According to Watchers on the Wall, Euron will triumph at that battle and he will kidnap one of the younger Greyjoys. In addition, there are speculations that Euron will kill one of the Sand Snakes in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
