'Suits' Season 6 Summer Finale News And Updates: One Major Characters Exits During Mid-Season Break, Jessica No Longer Coming Back?

The summer finale of "Suits" Season 6 was shocking as Jessica's exit was featured in the show. Jessica, played by actress Gina Torres, decided to leave the firm in order to be with her former boyfriend, Jeff Malone, as they wanted to spend their life together in Chicago.

Jessica decided to be with Jeff again in the "Suits" Season 6 finale after he saved an innocent man from facing death penalty for a crime he did not do. Jessica felt like it was time for her to take a break from the chaos of being part of the corporate law world, FX News Call reported.

The exit of Jessica from "Suits" was reportedly surprising to many fans since the season focused on the back story of the characters. In "Suits" Season 6 Episode 1, Jessica was seen reminiscing how she got to the top of the firm. Accordingly, the actress playing the role of Jessica said that this might not be the last time she will be seen in the show as she has not ruled out guest appearances since "Suits" is nearing its end.

She said in a recent interview that she is sure the boys on "Suits" are going to mess up somehow and they will have to call her. She added, "I don't know when, I don't know how, but that story's not done, 'cause everybody comes back."

Torres also confirmed to her fans that she has a new acting gig. She will be joining the show "The Catch" for its sophomore season. She will be starring alongside Mireille Enos and Peter Krause.

Aside from Jessica leaving, "Suits" Season also teased that the romance between Donna Paulsen and Harvey Specter might have a second chance. Due to the exit of Jessica, Harvey got quite sad since Jessica was like a mother to him. Donna then reached out to Harvey leading to them holding each other's hands, iTechPost reported.
