The internet is still ablaze over the golden couple's divorce. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have lost the spark but the "Tomb Raider" actress is rekindling an old romance with a lesbian lover, Jenny Shimizu.

According to Radar Online, the Golden Globe award-winner kept in touch with her ex-lover even though they called it quits years ago. "Angelina called Jenny this week to let her know what was going on and she told her that she wants to be a good mother to her kids," a source close to Angelina Jolie said.

The humanitarian actress got into the relationship with Jenny Shimizu during their shoot for the movie "Foxfire," where Jenny played the role of Goldie Goldman and Angelina Jolie as Legs Sadovsky. The movie was directed by Annette Haywood-Carter and was released in 1996.

The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" actress got involved in a romantic relationship with the model in 1996, the same year Angelina Jolie was married to "Hackers" co-star Johnny Lee Miller, according to NYDailyNews. The wife of Brad Pitt even admitted that she was bisexual in 2003. So is there a chance that the old lovers getting back together?

Maybe not. Model Jenny Shimizu got married to fashion consultant Michelle Harper in 2014, the US Magazine reported. The socialite has not commented on the matter, though, as she has nothing to worry about. apparently, Angelina Jolie has been reaching out to her friends.
