'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8 Spoilers: Nina Dobrev Confirmed Return? Delena Doomed; Elena & Stefan Reunion In Progress!

In less than a month, we will get to watch the last season of the popular TV series, "The Vampire Diaries." Yes, Elena, Damon, Stefan and the rest of the "TVD" characters will bid goodbye for good. For those still expecting for a Delena romance, reports have it that it is unlikely because Nina Dobrev will return for Stefan (Paul Wesley) in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

Yes, we understand that when Nina Dobrev decided to leave "The Vampire Diaries" many were broken hearted, especially the Delena fans. With Dobrev announcing her return for "The Vampire Diaries" fans are hoping that Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will continue the Delena romance or at least give it a closure

Unfortunately, the reunion of the ex-flames Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev in the show that catapulted them to fame remains a huge issue for Nikki Reed. She reportedly forbids her husband from shooting romantic scenes with Dobrev or else will divorce him. Thus, there will be no Delena romance in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 anymore.

Reports have it that the "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 production will still try to get Nina Dobrev back for the series' finale but instead of reuniting her character, Elena to Ian Somerhalder's Damon, they would reconnect her with Paul Wesley's Stefan.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, if Nina Dobrev returns for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, she will probably reunite with Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder's role will be reduced. Her ex-flame will be put in the backseat.

The report notes that Paul Wesley shared a photo announcing that he is directing the fifth day of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. The photo on his Instagram featured a woman behind him. Many believe that it was Nina Dobrev. "TVD" fans started to speculate that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will end with Stelena, and that there will be no Delena romance anymore.

Fans knew that Stefan and Elena were the first to fall in love. Thus, for some, giving the two characters a chance to end the series would make sense. But how about Elena's last love, Damon?
