Poppy Montgomery of 'Unforgettable' Expecting another Child

Actress Poppy Montgomery is expecting another child.  

This is the first child of the "Unforgettable" star with her boyfriend Shawn Sanford. The couple confirmed the news to People magazine.

"Shawn and I are thrilled and Jackson is so excited to be a big brother!" Montgomery, told the people magazine.

Montgomery has a five-year-old son Jackson with her previous relationship with actor Adam Kaufman, whom she first met during the filming of the movie "Between." After splitting with Kaufman in 2011, Montgomery started dating Microsoft executive Sanford. The Australian actress, who dropped out of the school to concentrate on her acting career, is widely known for her role in the series "Without a Trace."

The actress, who loved her role as a mother, earlier talked about her son Jackson and revealed her motherhood experiences with Good Housekeeping. She described the best part of her day as, "Coming home from work and putting my little one to bed." "It's when we connect," she added. "He's growing up so fast, and I like the moments that remind me that he's still a baby."

During the chat, the proud mother also revealed the role of  exercise in her life and how it helps her to become a better parent.

"I work my butt off to stay in shape, especially after having had a baby. I work out at least 90 minutes a day, seven days a week," she explained.  "At one point I was getting up at 4 A.M. to work out before Jackson woke up. Exercise makes me a better parent. I'm calmer and happier."
