Apple Buys New AI And Machine Learning Company Tuplejump On The Down-Low

Apple is not slowing down in owning new companies now that there are reports circulating on September 23 that they just bought Tuplejump. It is a small machine learning company that is based in India.

According to Tech Crunch, Apple has a habit of buying new and small companies and they don't exactly broadcast their reason for it. Tuplejump is a small company that has a goal of simplifying all the data that companies are struggling to keep for years. It is also their job that their services and materials are easier to access and simpler to use by companies in order to make their job easier.

Apple may be keeping it in the down low based on Tech Crunch's report, but Mashable reported that the company has already confirmed the acquisition of Tuplejump. It is a company that has been there since 2013, but appeared to no longer be operating because their website has been taken down. Apparently, the reason for them being missing in action over the virtual world is because Apple has decided to buy them.

Reports are saying that Apple already bought Tuplejump back in April but it was only last Friday that they finally made it public. This is not the first machine learning company or artificial intelligence that Apple has bought, as it has also acquired Turi, just a month ago. It is a small company from Seattle and their aim is almost the same as Tuplejump, only their work seems to be focused on the convenience of developers and data scientists.

Do you think that Apple is making a smart move in buying artificial intelligence like Tuplejump and Turi? Tell us what you think about this habit of Apple in the comments box below.
