‘Prison Break’ Season 5 Spoilers, News & Update: Michael To Reunite With Lincoln, New Villains Are Out To Take Michael Down?

"Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to see the return of Wentworth Miller's character, Michael Scofield, who was presumed to be dead from the "Prison Break" Season 4 finale. Fans of the show are now reportedly speculating on how his brother Lincoln Burrows, portrayed by Dominic Purcell, will help him get out of jail.

The recently released "Prison Break" Season 5 trailer shows Michael in Ogygia Prison in Yemen. The "Prison Break" Season 5 trailer hints that Lincoln will be set on a mission to break Michael out of prison with the help of his old friends, C-Note and Fernando Sucre portrayed by Rockmond Dunbar and Amaury Nolasco, respectively.

Robert Knepper who portrays T-Bag's character is also seen in the "Prison Break" Season 5 trailer who presented evidences to Lincoln and Sara, portrayed by Sarah Wayne Callies, that Michael is still alive. Though the "Prison Break" Season 5 trailer ended with Michael reuniting with his brother, it remains to be seen what would happen after Michael escapes jail.

Meanwhile, Purcell apparently keeps fans updated through his Instagram account by posting images related to "Prison Break." Fans believe that his postings are teasers on how he plans to take his brother out of prison in "Prison Break" Season 5.

In one of Purcell's postings, he showed a tattoo of a compass on his arm which fans speculated to be the key to help Michael get his freedom back in "Prison Break" Season 5. The compass tattoo is surrounded by some wordings and symbols which are suggested to have some sort of translation or pass codes, Christian Today reported.

It can be recalled that Michael helped Lincoln escape death penalty in the Fox River State Penitentiary. "Prison Break" Season 5 is suggested to see Lincoln return the favor back by getting himself imprisoned and take his brother out. However, the story is suggested to have more villains who will chase after Michael as he holds secret information that can purportedly break the government, Movie News Guide reported.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is speculated to air in Spring 2017 on Fox. No specific release date has been revealed but fans are reportedly positive that the network will release the series soon due to the high demands of its fans.
