NBA Trade Rumors: Los Angeles And Milwaukee In A Trade Talk; Greg Monroe And Jabari Parker To Lakers; D'Angelo Russell To Bucks

Things are heating up in the NBA league as the new season is about to begin. Each team is busy upgrading their roster. At the time, Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks are rumored to be in trade talks involving Greg Monroe, Jabari Parker and D'Angelo Russell.

Most NBA fans are aware that Los Angeles Lakers are trying to build a new era for the 2016-17 season. The team just faced a huge loss after Kobe Bryant decided to hang his jersey for good and retire. Will Lakers find a potential replacement for Bryant or will they be making one from their young talents?

Well, according to NBA Trade Rumors, Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks could do a trade to improve their roster. Lakers could send D'Angelo Russell to Bucks in exchange for its center and power forward Greg Monroe, and forward Jabari Parker.

However, Inquisitr debunked this NBA trade rumor, suggesting that it is not possible as it cannot be pushed due to NBA trade and salary restrictions. The publication added that the players' salary do not match and are not even close.

The reports have it that Greg Monroe and Jabari Parker's combined salary is about $22.5 million in the next NBA season. Meanwhile, D'Angelo Russell is just entering his second year of a rookie contract and will only receive $5.3 million.

Aside from this, Parent Herald previously reported that Los Angeles Lakers already issued a statement that they are not trading D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle. The two players are significant assets in Lakers' rebuilding.

Luke Walton suggests earlier that with Kobe Bryant's departure, he sees a potential in D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle. Both players could work together to lead Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs. The pair is still young and is still heading towards their prime years.
