Kristen Stewart Girlfriend 2015: Mother Confirms Same Sex Romance? Says Alicia Cargile's a 'lovely girl'

Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend and former "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart has definitely found a new love and her mother approves of this current relationship. In an interview with Mirror, Kristen's mother confirms what has been rumored in the press for so long --- her daughter is dating a woman, Alicia Cargile, who also works as her personal assistant.

"She's happy. She's my daughter, I'm just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices," said Jules Stewart, Kristen's mom. She also reveals that she has met Alicia in person. "I like her. What's not to accept? She's a lovely girl," Jules further said in the interview.

Jules said that she has accepted that her daughter, once the toast of Hollywood for her high profile relationship with Pattinson, can love both men and women. It did not come as a shock to the actress' mother because she also has gay friends of her own. As a script supervisor who also works in Hollywood just like her daughter, she knows what their environment is like. "It's OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends so we should be free to choose our lovers," Jules said.

Kristen, 25, has been keeping mum about her relationship with Alicia following a nasty split with Pattinson, 29, two years ago. She was linked to Rupert Sanders, 44, the director of her 2012 movie, "Snow White and the Huntsman," while still together with Pattinson. They were apparently having an affair and Pattinson had no idea, according to Daily Mail.

Following this, the "Twilight" co-stars broke up but remained friends. Pattinson has since moved on with singer FKA Twigs, and since the beginning of this year, Kristen has been spotted holding hands with Alicia in public on a number of occasions.

During one interview on Conan O'Brien's show in April, Kristen hinted at her relationship with Alicia, "There's so much isolation and protection that has to happen. So then you end up, kind of like, hiring a buddy, a confidante, like, somebody to organize your schedule, but in addition to that, like kind of like, live with you essentially."

Meanwhile, Pattinson, who is already engaged to the singer-rapper, is reportedly keen on inviting his ex-girlfriend to his wedding because she had been "a huge part of his life for so long," according to Life & Style. The two have been in good terms after Kristen congratulated Pattinson on his engagement.
