'Thor 3 Ragnarok' Is Idris Elba's Last? Heimdall's Death Hinted; Thor's Vision in 'Avengers 2' A Confirmation?

Fans can't get enough of "Thor 3 Ragnarok." The plot of the upcoming MCU flick remains to be a mystery, but because Marvel has continued to add more characters to the movie, fans have begun to speculate the events that could transpire in the third installment.

It was previously confirmed that Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum will be joining "Thor 3 Ragnarok" as main villain Hela and the Grandmaster, respectively. Just recently, Marvel has revealed that "Jurassic Park" star Sam Neil has been casted for a still undisclosed role.

While previous reports have claimed that "Thor 3 Ragnarok" will be a cosmic adventure for Thor and his buddy The Hulk, many believe that the plot could be more twisted and complicated than that. It was recently revealed through a photo leak that Odin will be back in the new movie, but Thor will find him in New York as a homeless man.

Since Hela is touted as the main antagonist in "Thor 3 Ragnarok," many believe that the MCU flick will closely mirror the events in the comic books where Hela destroyed Thor's Mjolnir and banished him from Asgard. Rumors are rife that Hela will team-up with Loki in the upcoming flick, although it is still not sure how their partnership will begin.

As Movie Web speculated, Hela unleashing her power could also entail another well-liked character's death. If rumors are true, it would seem that Heimdall will meet his end in the new movie. Thor's vision in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" could be a major hint of that happening.
