'Pokemon GO' Lates News, Tips And Tricks: New Theory Points At Courthouses As Porygon Spawning Ground!

Porygon is one of those "mythical" and rare "Pokemon Go" trophies that players don't seem to catch that often. Aside from getting it by hatching an egg, Porygon is an elusive creature that it even caused a stampede in Rhodes, Sydney, Australia when it popped up. Today, however, "Pokemon Go" gurus are deliberating that if you want to catch a Porygon, trainers might just want to keep an open eye on a certain but specific pattern.

Pokemon Go Hub suggested in their recent post that Porygon "spawns near court and administrative buildings". The website quoted The Silph Road when they discovered that after the latest "Pokemon Go" migration, Porygon was frequent around the State Division of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation (SEPAI) and at the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Supplies (MAPA) in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It added that they spotted five Porygons inside the SEPAI building and two at MAPA. Although these two administrative buildings are "not located in the same area", they are more or less 15 minutes away from each other.

On the other hand, Pokemon Go Hub decided "to dig a bit deeper" and validate if the rumors were true. After mining two days' worth of tracker data using a variety of "Pokemon Go" desktop trackers (the website said that they tracked "various urban areas around the world", 35 city areas, 16 rural and 7 transport spots), they collated "around 1250000 spawns" and gave them 378 Porygon encounters. That's around 0.03024% chance that a player will spot Porygon on you "Pokemon Go" map.

Another product that came from the 15MB mined data represented that 291 Porygon spawns (76.9%) "Occurred near a courthouse" or, in Brazil's case, in an administrative building. "Near" means that a Porygon was spotted less than a kilometer away from a courthouse or law building, while 51 spawns were observed in under 5 kilometers and 34 spawns came within more than 5 kilometers of a courthouse or law building.

For their calculations, the "Pokemon Go" website used the Open Street Map to decipher their readings. The results then gave them "amenity=courthouse" and "office=government". However, they said that both "did not correlate" with each other, and summarized that Porygon "does not spawn near any government building - it spawns only near law related buildings!"

Could this mean that "Pokemon Go" is evolving in such a way that they are now breaking the traditional spawning cycle? Niantic promised that a bunch of new add-ons will be featured in the next "Pokemon Go" patches. Is this one of them? If it is, they're we're in for a treat!
